History

Sigma Coatings (Pty) Limited one of Europe's leading coating manufacturers focuses on the development, manufacturing, marketing, selling and distribution of a variety of coatings including Marine & Protective Coatings.

Sigma Coatings South Africa has been a fully integrated member of the SigmaKalon group since 2001. On January 4th 2008 SigmaKalon merged with PPG Industries to yield a multi-national company with a turnover in excess of $11 billion.

The merged company is now in a strong position of having research facilities in both Amsterdam (Europe) and Pittsburgh (USA).

Sigma Coatings is the acknowledged market leader in Tank and Specialized epoxy linings and are also the owners of the most advanced inorganic zinc technology with utilizes pre-dispersed zinc particles.
